Oh the life of Pirates and Piracy as was the focus of the day for Sir Thomas as he headed off to the Denver Museum of Natural History for its Pirates! Exhibit. Even though “Pirates” are romanticized in this day and age, and dastardly beings in history, there is something about the iconic “Pirate” that triggers Sir Thomas. The challenging the 1%? the sense of adventure? or is it the treasure? He has the same romanticism about Gypsies, who too, are like Pirates, just those on the land. Part of his adventure Down Under is to figure this all out. What was this crazy dream that created Pirate Relief?

It was an early morning indeed as he had a quick breakfast, said bye to Lady Allison and Princess Astranna setting sail for Denver. He met up with one of his best friends, Lady Christina in Denver and her son Prince Danni, heading off to the Museum together. Parking wasn’t much trouble, they found a spot quickly.

They went in to see the Pirates! exhibit, a fascination of Sir Thomas as he recently started the Pirate Relief organization and was soon beginning his epic quest Down Under to live, breathe, and swim as a pirate setting sail of Captain Cook’s replica ship, the HMB Endeavour to experience what it would be like as a Sea-Man. So this exhibit was of particular interest and he learned a lot from the displays. They had some fun moments exploring all things pirate … the information set on display impressed Sir Thomas and made him very excited about his upcoming Tall ship sailing experience coming up.

They then wandered into the wildlife exhibits so he could get some learning about the flora and fauna he would be encountering Down Under …
