Friday at the Burn 2010:
Bodypainting, Dust Storms, Art, Music

Awakening to the hot sun after a mid-morning glare peering into the Vanwagon vardo, Sir Thomas Leaf stumbled out of the van, off his futon, and into this bodypainting station camp. Pulling out the paints and getting the Body Painting Station ready for its patrons for the day. Dust on the horizon. Lots of wanderers coming in to get painted and painting each other when Leaf was gone. Leaf took a wander-a-bout in search of his brother the mad Docteur Mangor again to no discovery. While he was gone, Dr. Mangor had stopped into camp and left him notes. After a pitstop at the free soft-serve “Psychedelic Ice Cream” camp for some vanilla and chocolate twist, he spent the afternoon painting many beautiful people. As he was finishing bodypainting a lovely Canadian Goddess, the mad doctor arrived. Then it was an afternoon of exploring the playa and cycling around, viewing the amazing art pieces on the playa, visiting camps and getting drunk, dancing to music, and playing well into the evening. Pitstopped in to see the lovely Bonefinder who unfortunately was under the weather so unable to go wander-a-bout with this crazy duo. They searched for Karen at Deathguild who was on her own wander-a-bout. Late night fun with two beautiful princesses from Sweden that was camping within Mangor’s camp, Sir Thomas Leaf and Dr. Mangor went adventuring to an 80’s dance club, a goth night, and several intriguing bars.
