Early to rise, with a day off to prepare the bodypaints and booth for the Underground’s Fetish Friday and to pack for Hypothermia. I knew it would be the start of a crazy adventure that would last for the next four days from Colorado Springs to Denver to Paonia, and back. I’m glad it was my RDO (regular day off) because it literally did take me all day to prepare and pack. I arrived at the Underground around 7 PM to setup the booth and grab a bite to eat from their restaurant, with a couple of Grey goose n’ tonics to wash it down. Soon Christina arrived followed by my painting partner Doug while the Underground was quickly populating with clientele and patrons. Gary got his art setup, as did Brigit with her masks … and my good friend Viktoria arrived down from Denver with the Will of the Whips group. Mistress Satori as well with her rack and tools of pain n’ pleasure. The DJ’s began and dancing took motion on the dancefloor while i started painting Christina a watercolor black upon which snowburst breasts and a butterfly on her back with acryllic. Doug then whipped out his airbrush gun and feathered and highlighted the acryllic with airbrush paint for a dynamic effect. |
| After Christina, Doug worked on painting a panther of the beautiful sonja while I painted some face and mask designs on others. Doug worked on a torso while I painted a fall tree on a lovely lady’s belly, Doug a dragon on another as I painted black vines on Shelby’s arm, more faces and designs, both me and Doug were kept busy throughout the evening … i got to escape for one dance and a bit of hanging out with friends nearby the booth. Also meeting some wonderful new friends as well as some local Burners that attended the event. It was a fantastic evening. It was amazing how many people came out given a snow storm covered the streets and iced the concrete outside. After packing up, Me, Viktoria, and Doug headed over to Denny’s to meet with some friends for a late night snack before trekking up to Denver to drop off Viktoria before heading off to Hypothermia. What a wonderful night … thank you Mistress Satori and everyone who made the night extra special! |
