Mario’s Two Fisted Pizza Parlour 1626 Market St, Denver, CO 80202
One of my favorite Pizza joints in Denver, Colorado. Mario’s Two Fisted Pizza is conveniently located next door to the infamous Double Daughters Salotto that is by far one of my favorite bars. Back in 2005-2012 when I lived in Colorado … Double Daughters and Mario’s were amongst some of my usual haunts. I unfortunately haven’t had the chance to visit again since 2012 (partially because my life doesn’t support eating out anymore). But from memories … Some of the most superb pizza around. As they are open to 2 or 3 am most nights, great place to grab a slice after clubbing or bar brewing. Rated: 5 stars out of 5
Marilyn’s Pizza ~ 964 Manitou Ave, Manitou Springs, CO 80829 ~
A great little hole-in-the-wall restaurant and pizza parlor in the heart of Manitou Springs downtown next to the former Ancient Mariner and the Mate Factory. Friendly service and timely pizza with a variety of choices. We had the basic slice and a macaroni and cheese slice. Good eats. Rating 3 stars out of 5
A great little pizza parlor, with an amazing all you can eat pizza buffet at a great price. Trendy decor with an 80’s outlook, good service and friendly staff, the pizza is delicious and plentiful. We really enjoyed our lunch here (3/22/16). They’ve been serving slices here since 1995. They also offer pasta, sandwiches, hamburgers, wings, chicken, deserts, and a salad bar. For the sports enthusiasts, there are large screen TV’s for game time. The kids can get lost for hours in their game room. Owned and operated by Lloyd Burleson of Ephrata, Time Out has a family feeling. Good times! Rating: 5 stars out of 5.
Marco’s Coal-Fired Pizza * 2129 Larimer St * Denver, CO 80205 * (303) 296-7000 * www.marcoscoalfiredpizza.com
It was a early saturday evening after a day of playing a digital camera Ispy scavenger hunt that we sought refuge in this SoCo pizza joint. Upscale and artsy with a pricey menu but coal-fired pizza and Italy imported furnishing, stove, ingredients, and product. Many claim this is one of the best pizza joints in Denver. I haven’t tried enough pizza places in Denver to make that claim to fame. But it was quite delicious, and the cheeses fantastic. Thin crust pizza just like you find in Italy – crunchy crust with a bit of char from their boasted coal-fired oven. The wings were also supposed to be pretty fabulous, but I wasn’t that impressed by them. Great decor and a nice outside patio. Marco, the owner, comes around to the tables and sampled us some of the cheeses he imports in. Nice guy. Tried the Abruzzo Pizza, it was quite delicious. Though would of even been tastier if smothered with garlic. Bufala Mozerella, Parmigiano Regglano, Gran Cru, Caclocavallo, Fresh Basil, and extra virgin olive oil. Rating 5 stars out of 5.
